1. Definitions

3. Service Description

Kamol Timeworks provides professional watch repair and restoration services from our workshop in Bangkok, Thailand. Our current service offerings include:

• Diagnostic and Tune-Up — a careful assessment and, if requested, cleaning, lubrication, and regulation of the movement.
• Seal and Water Resistance Service — replacement of gaskets and related components, followed by resistance testing where the watch design allows.
• Complete Antique Restoration — a thorough restoration for antique timepieces, balancing repair with conservation.

Services are available to customers who bring or arrange delivery of their timepiece to our workshop. We reserve the right to decline service on watches where, in our professional judgement, the work requested is not feasible, safe, or appropriate for the piece in question.

4. User Responsibilities

When using the Website or engaging our Services, you agree to:

• provide accurate and complete information when submitting enquiries or authorising service work;
• disclose any known damage, modifications, or prior repairs to your watch when relevant to our assessment;
• collect your watch within a reasonable period after we notify you of completion — we are not responsible for timepieces left uncollected beyond 90 days after notification;
• use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms;
• refrain from attempting to interfere with, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems;
• not reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Website without our prior written consent.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website — including text, photographs, service descriptions, logos, and graphic elements — is the intellectual property of Kamol Timeworks or is used with appropriate permission. It is protected under Thai copyright and intellectual property law.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the Website content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, transmit, or create derivative works from Website content without our express written permission.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

6. Payment Terms

All service prices are quoted and charged in Thai Baht (฿). Current indicative pricing is displayed on our website; however, final pricing for each piece is confirmed in a written estimate provided after initial assessment and before any work commences.

• Work will only begin once you have reviewed and approved the written estimate.
• Payment is due in full upon collection of the completed timepiece.
• We accept cash and major bank transfers. Details will be confirmed at time of service.
• Parts costs, where required, are itemised separately in the estimate and confirmed before ordering.
• If you choose not to proceed following an assessment, a diagnostic fee may apply. This will be communicated clearly before assessment work begins.

Where a service is cancelled after parts have been ordered or work has commenced, reasonable costs incurred up to the point of cancellation may be charged.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Turnaround times are estimates provided in good faith. Diagnostic and tune-up services are generally completed within one to two weeks. Seal and water resistance services are typically completed within one to two weeks. Complete antique restorations may require four to ten weeks, depending on the condition of the piece and the availability of any parts requiring fabrication. We will communicate any changes to expected timelines promptly.

Watch custody. While your timepiece is in our care, we take reasonable precautions to protect it. We will not undertake any work beyond the agreed scope without your authorisation. In the unlikely event of accidental damage occurring during service, we will notify you immediately and discuss resolution options in good faith.

Service warranty. We stand by our workmanship. Should a fault directly attributable to our service arise within a reasonable period after collection, we will assess and address it without additional charge for labour. The warranty does not extend to subsequent damage caused by misuse, accidental impact, water ingress on watches not serviced for water resistance, or normal wear.

Antique and heritage pieces. For antique restorations, the written assessment will set out the options and our recommended approach. We carry out this work with care and a preference for conservation over replacement. We will not replace original components unnecessarily and will always seek your approval before any irreversible steps.

8. Disclaimers

The Website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we take care to keep information accurate and current, we make no representation that the Website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

Service descriptions and indicative pricing on the Website are for general guidance only. Final scope, pricing, and feasibility are always confirmed in writing after we have examined the specific timepiece. We do not represent that any particular result or restoration outcome can be achieved for any given watch.

We are watchmakers and conservators, not legal or financial advisers. Nothing on this Website constitutes professional advice of any kind.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to you in connection with any service or use of the Website shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website or our Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Thai law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kamol Timeworks, its proprietors, staff, and representatives from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the Website in violation of applicable law, or any misrepresentation you have made in connection with our Services.

11. Termination

You may discontinue use of the Website at any time. We may restrict or suspend your access to the Website at our discretion if we believe you have breached these Terms or are using the Website in a manner harmful to us or others.

Termination of Website access does not affect any service agreement already in progress. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including payment terms, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will continue to apply.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, including the Civil and Commercial Code and applicable consumer protection legislation.

If informal resolution is not possible, both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
